Perez's EP "Something Different," aims at exactly what it sounds like. These minimalist style beats are produced in an ultra low fidelity and organized like movements of a composed work. Everything from the construction of the form to the language of the melodies is improvised and styled in a more avante-garde style. This 4 track EP is a hazy, hallucinatory peak into the unusual applications of the violin.
